Ray Kajioka

Ray is born and raised in the small city Lutherstadt Wittenberg in
1980.
He has been working in the scene since 1995, producing, dj- and live
performing.
He is well-known for his work on Kanzleramt Music, Rotation Records,
MakTub, Müller Records, as well as his remixes for artists like
Dave Clarke, Pawas, Joel Mull and Beroshima.

A distinguishing and striking aspect of his music is certainly the
warm spheric and impulsive sound, which is constantly present in all
his productions. Ray’s live and DJ-performance encompasses all the
elements of today’s modern Techno-NuHouse, but has its feet firmly
planted in the roots of the Detroit-vibe. “The typical Ray-sound!”,
as some call it simply, is appreciated all around the globe and
had taken him to events in Japan, Russia, The Netherlands, Poland,
Belgium, Lithuania amongst others.

His releases “Sparks” and “Thrill”, fall 2011 on Kanzleramt, became
a huge hit and have been listed in many DJ charts. Supported by
a lot of big names like Laurent Garnier, Ken Ishi, Joel Mull,
Alan Fitzpatrick, Secret Cinema, Adam Beyer, Stephan Bodzin,
Charles Siegling, Dustin Zahn, Estroe, Claude Young, Elbee Bad, Pär
Grindvik, to name few..
2012 is starting up with remixes for Elbee, Alexander Kowalski which
already got great feedback each.

Upcoming releases on Maktub Music (New Delhi/ India) end of
February/Beginning March, a project on Shaded Music (Lithuania) in
March and also a new release on Kanzleramt will follow.
